| Product Information - Application Process |
STEP 1 Begin with a clean, dry truck.
STEP 2 The box area is then thoroughly cleaned of road grime, wax, oils and silicone.
STEP 3 Wiretrim Edge Cutting Tape is applied to all trim lines.
STEP 4 Masking paper is then applied to protect your vehicle from overspray.
STEP 5 The surfaces to be coated are lightly scuffed to aid with adhesion. All areas are vacuumed, wiped with a tack cloth and pre-paint cleaner.
STEP 6 Reflex polyurethane is sprayed up to 1/4" thick in the box and on the tailgate.
STEP 7
The enclosed wire in the edge cutting tape is pulled out through the coating to trim the liner's edge. |
